After the Hiatus

Well yeah. I haven’t been writing for weeks now simply because I can’t gather my thoughts and because there’s been so much going on. That and I have been playing an online game which takes up most of my spare time 😛

To do a recap, my Papi and I have somewhat limited our exchange to like once a week, or maybe less. We have implicitly done so to avoid torturing ourselves with love that can never be. I knew long-distance relationships were if not impossible, agonizing, but then again I took the chance because I knew the elusive 4-letter word was there.

Two weeks ago I was in Puerto Galera. Was with my 2 best bisexual friends; together we call ourselves the “tatlong itlog” (3 eggs) because we’ve got shaved heads and look like goons. I brought a friend along, one which I met in a bathhouse. He’s 36 years old, nice stylized military haircut, around 5’6. And me being the good judge of character new that the 4 of us would jive well.  I never knew how much fun it can be when you’re with the company of very spontaneous people. This is the first time we hanged out outside the realm of coffeeshops and bars, and I must say, it was refreshing. Since Galera was like abandoned, compared to the throngs of people who inhabit it during the Holy (or not so holy) Week, we decided to do nature-tripping. Since we boys were the adventurous types, in contrast to my other circle of weak, maarte friends, we decided NOT to get a tour guide and find Aninuan Waterfalls by ourselves. It took us an hour to get there. On foot. But it was oh so worth it. Saw nice rock formations, rivers, a snake, lots of higad, not so familiar trees and plants etc. Real cool. I’d do it again anytime, but it was tiring too because we were on foot and we also walked on the way back (for another hour).

We spent probably less than 2000 pesos there. 3days 2nights. Spent 800 per night (divided by 4) for our unit which had 2 big beds, airconditioned, had a sala, sofa, ref and most of the kitchen utensils you’ll ever need. We were like whoa. And since we all knew how to cook, we just bought ingredients nearby and made dinner. Cool huh? Bicol Express and Sinigang were some of the dishes we prepared. Right now the three eggs are planning for our next escapade 😛

So what has happened to my lovelife? This guy I brought to Galera is somewhat my prospect. Although we get along pretty well, and we have great sex, there’s still something missing. I’m not head over heels in love. Or at least not yet. I don’t mind letting him into my circle of friends since he fits in pretty well. I’ve got a few dates coming up that may be sort of promising so we’ll see.

A few things that I may write about soon are:

  • Hanging out with my ex, and how ridiculous and uncomfortable that was
  • Leaving a bathhouse only to come in (and pay) again. You’ll have to wonder why right? 😛

I’ll start with what’s easier to type hehe.  Hopefully I get to update this sooner than later.
