Hello world!

Well, Hello World!

This may very well be a futile attempt to maintain my sanity, and keep my brain occupied. After all I’m getting older.

I just turned 26 last week. And having crossed the 25-year-old mark, I have been having some kind of a mid-life crisis.

What have I been doing with my life?

Have I amounted to anything?

Did I spend my life with good people?

Have I invested in good relationships?

And the like. Also, I have been single for 3 years now, not by choice mind you. Maybe by writing again I can diagnose whatever the hell is wrong with me (assuming this is my fault) or the universe (which will be harder to fix) and maybe, hopefully, find someone to spend my life with. I’d like to believe I’m a catch. Yeah. But not everyone wants to invest time to get to know someone.

Oh, and did I mention that I am gay? Well yeah. And that in itself presents a whole world of problems. Relationships between men are harder, in that it takes a while for us to ‘settle down’. After all we’re still guys; carnal, lustful and horny. Our heads down there do most of the thinking for us. But in any case, we still would like to fall in love, we’re just afraid to admit it and too pessimistic about it.

Let me give you an idea about the guy writing this.  First, I’m of mixed-race descent. You must be saying ‘yeah, everybody claims to be half-sumthin’ sumthin’. Well guys my father really isn’t Filipino. My surname is also different and therefore I can’t possibly mention it on the internet because, I’m quite sure that only me and my brother have this surname in the entire country. In fact I would pass for a local, if not for my hair, my eyes, and my skin tone. I’m moreno, the kind of tan latino’s possess, and caucasians envy. So I usually get curious looks and stares from strangers. I work out, at least 3 times a week while hoping I get as big as those UFC mixed martial artists, my bone structure is somewhat uncooperative. Maybe I need to do steroids. But some say I do look great, I usually get comments like I should go model or something. I have been approached by a talent coordinator, and been to one ‘Go-See’ (this probably deserves its own blog entry 🙂 ) Anyway, if you were to ask me, I’m not good-looking. I just got this ‘X-Factor’ that makes people check me out. It may be my rugged, inherent manly looks, coupled with my fit body which gets people interested. But there’s more believe me, there’s more…
